Macau Grand Prix Provsional Entry List

 

The Macau Grand Prix Committee have announced the provsional entry list for this year's City of Dreams Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix to be held on Saturday 19th November.

Six times winner Michael Rutter is again riding for the Team of Paris along with his Ducati teammate Martin Jessop and local Macau racer Joao Fernandes.  Will Michael bag that exclusive seventh win and the outright record ?  Only time will tell but if he does it will be against the toughest of competition.

Unfortunately Stuart Easton is still recovering from his accident in the North West 200 but Ian Hutchinson is attempting to return to racing after his BSB spill last year on the very fast Swan Yamaha. 

Riding with a specially adapted right foot gear lever Ian will need all his guile and determination to continue his tremendous recovery.  Another returner is Conor Cummins on thw Kawasaki World Superbike model alongside Michael Dunlop.  The "other" Dunlop Brother - William - will be on the Wilson Craig Honda.

In total, half of the 28 rider field are British - yes the Brits love their road racing - with 5 Americans, 2 Portuguese, 2 Germans and 1 rider each from Austria, Czech Republic and New Zealand plus two local Macau riders.
