Jessopp gets a Warm-up Tow from Rutter

Michael Rutter went out for a quick dash round the Guia circuit in warm-up for todays' Macau Motorcycle Grand Prix and in doing so gave his team mate Martin Jessopp a tow fround allowing him to knock alnost two and a half seconds off his qualifying best - enough for second place on the grid had Michael been so generous yesterday !

Of course Rutter was not giving away all his tricks as his best this morning was well over a second slower than his scorching pole lap.

Another couple of riders who improved their qualifying times were Steve Mercer who knocked off over a second foe what would have put him in eight place on the grid had he done it yesterday.

Macau debutant Michael Dunlop is all getting faster and faster knocking another two and a half seconds of his Macau personal best.

Everybody is certainly geared up for this afternoon's 12 lap race that promises much !
